Our Wellbeing Provision
Nurturing the Whole Child
Wellbeing is central to our vision of helping every child achieve, belong and thrive. We are committed to supporting children's emotional, social, spiritual and mental wellbeing through a range of carefully planned provision.
The Nest
Our nurture provision offers personalised support for children who may need additional help with social, emotional or behavioural development. Through a nurturing approach, children develop confidence, resilience and positive relationships.
The Woodland Retreat
Our Woodland Retreat provides a calm and welcoming environment where children can reflect, pray, regulate emotions and reconnect with learning. It offers opportunities for quiet reflection, wellbeing activities and spiritual development.
Pastoral Support
Our dedicated staff work closely with children and families to provide care, guidance and support. Effective safeguarding procedures, strong relationships and early intervention ensure that children feel safe and supported.
Emotional Wellbeing
We promote positive mental health through:
Trusted adults and strong relationships.
Emotional literacy and self-regulation strategies.
Nurture and ELSA-informed approaches.
PSHE and personal development opportunities.
Reflection and prayer spaces.
Access to external support where needed.
Spiritual Development
As a Church of England school, we provide opportunities for pupils to reflect on life's big questions, explore faith and values, and develop a sense of awe, wonder and gratitude.
"We believe children thrive when they feel safe, happy, valued and supported."
