Crowton’s school vision is to embrace a Christian like way of living, learning and teaching. Our Christian vision is at the heart of all we do and we endeavour to provide a personalised curriculum for each and every child. We are committed to creating a positive, happy, safe and stimulating environment for our pupils to enjoy and excel in their learning; grow in confidence, resilience and independence; achieve their full potential and flourish as individuals, whatever their ability.

Our school values equip pupils and adults to achieve our vision and help to guide and sustain us on our journey to shape and develop the Christian character of Crowton C.E. Primary School. Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do and support us in our decision making and our future plans. We are a Voluntary Aided Church of England school and have close links with Crowton Christ Church.

Our Christian Values

At Crowton Christ Church C.E. Primary School we offer a distinctly Christian education in an inclusive environment where we encourage all children and young people to learn, enquire and grow. The distinctive nature of our approach to education is embedded in everything that we do. We focus on six values each academic year (one per half term) and cover all of our Christian Values over a two-year cycle. Each value becomes the focus of our Collective Worship and a thread which permeates through all areas of our school life. 

At Crowton Primary School we strive to achieve high standards, providing a quality education for all children. All our children are taught in smaller than average class sizes which allow us to give each child a high level of support and guidance.  We take care to ensure that we know every child’s starting points and we adapt our teaching to meet their needs, meaning every pupil is experiencing challenge and success. Our staff are committed and dedicated to meeting the needs of all children through an exciting and creative curriculum that encourages independent learning. Crowton is a very happy school where children and staff enjoy working in the friendly and caring atmosphere.

We aim to make everyone's time at our school an enjoyable and rewarding experience which is full of happy memories. Every child is provided with the opportunity to develop academically, creatively, socially, spiritually and physically, including a sense of responsibility for themselves and others. We are enormously proud of our school and its place in the local community of Crowton.
