Willow (Y1/Y2)

“…with God, all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26
🌸 Welcome Back to Spring 2! 🌸
We hope you all had a restful half-term break and enjoyed spending time together.
In English, we will be writing return story sentences and information sentences based on the story Where the Wild Things Are, using the text to inspire our vocabulary, sentence structure and creativity.
In Maths, we will follow a small-steps approach to multiplication and division, building fluency before applying our learning to reasoning and problem-solving activities.
In Science, we will deepen our knowledge of animals, including humans, developing key scientific vocabulary and building on prior learning through discussion and enquiry.
In Geography, we will be learning about weather and seasons, including how to observe and measure different types of weather. We will also explore the Earth’s movements, the four UK seasons and how weather changes throughout the year.
