RSE Parent Consultation - April 2026
As outlined in our recent letter, the government has introduced updated statutory guidance for Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE), which schools are required to implement from September 2026. In response, we have reviewed and updated our RSHE policy and curriculum to ensure it:
Meets all statutory requirements
Reflects the age, development and needs of our pupils
Is inclusive of all children, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
Respects the diverse cultural and religious backgrounds of our school community
Supports pupils to stay safe, healthy and prepared for life in modern Britain
We are now seeking feedback from parents and carers as part of our consultation process. Your views are very important in helping us shape a curriculum that is appropriate, inclusive and reflective of our school values. This survey should take approximately 5–10 minutes to complete. All responses will be considered carefully before the policy is finalised. The consultation will close on Friday 22nd May 2026. Thank you for your support.
