The home of Years 3, 4, 5 and 6.

Hello and welcome to our class page! This is where you will find all the information you need to know about what we will be doing in Key Stage 2 this half term.

In English, we a focusing on the book 'The Darkest Dark' written by Astronaut, Chris Hadfield. 

In class we use TTRockstars to help us to keep our times tables skills embedded as this helps us in all areas of Maths. Knowing our times tables up to 12 x 12 is key and pupils are encourgaed to practice their recall of these at home as well. 

Spellings will be quizzed and new spellings given out on Mondays (Y3/4) Tuesdays (Y5/6). You can find the overview for the half-term below. 

PE will be on Wednesday with George Waring, supported by Miss Porter. Please ensure you are wearing your PE kit on Wednesday. 

Home learning tasks will be given out on Fridays and it is expected they are returned to school by the following Wednesday unless otherwise stated e.g. longer research tasks and presentations.

In addition to weekly homework it is vital that pupils continue to read to themselves and adults at home. Books are available at school or pupils are free to choose their own age appropriate books to read.
