School Performance Tables
Children in Year 6 are assessed on their knowledge and understanding of the curriculum. The curriculum, introduced in 2014, provides greater challenge with higher expectations set for the end of KS2. The results of the SATS tests are reported using a scaled score, where a score of 100 represents the expected standard. The highest possible score is120 and the lowest is 80. Children who obtain a scaled score higher than 100 have met the expected standard. Children need a scaled score of 110+ to achieve 'greater depth' standard.
Year 6 pupils are assessed in reading, writing, grammar, punctuation and spelling and maths. The DfE performance tables provide further information on the achievements of pupils and how they compare with other schools/colleges across England.
As a small school, with some cohorts of children being below 10, some data analysis can be unreliable as each child equates to a high percentage. We are a very inclusive school and feel proud of the support we can offer children with individual needs.
