Class 2 Christmas Cafe

On Tuesday 16th December the children in Year 2 held a Christmas Cafe in the school hall. To prepare for the event the children planned menu's, priced items, shopped on-line for groceries, decorated cakes and biscuits and made table decorations. On teh day they took on the roles of waiters and waitresses taking orders, calculating the bill and giving the right change. They provided entertainment, singing and performing to their customers. Parents, Governors and family members attended and the response was fantastic! The children made a profit of £20 which they decided they would like to donate to Alder Hey Children's Hospital in memory of Skye.
