we Achieve, we Believe, we Care

Here you will find useful information in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. Here is a link to the current guidance for parents of school age children: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/what-parents-and-carers-need-to-know-about-early-years-providers-schools-and-colleges-during-the-coronavirus-covid-19-outbreak/step-4-update-what-parents-and-carers-need-to-know-about-early-years-providers-schools-and-colleges

The symptoms of COVID-19 as described on the NHS website are as follows:

a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)

a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)

a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

Remote Learning

In the event of a School closure or when a child is self isolating at home, work will be set by teachers for all children that are well enough to complete remotely at home. All children have access to their homework section of the website via a login name and password, where the remote learning will be set.

For everyone’s safety and as per national guidance, children will be washing their hands regularly throughout the day with soap and water. This includes when they arrive, before and after break and lunch, after certain activities, and before they leave. We also have hand sanitiser available in school for both staff and children. As a school we practice Catch It! Kill it! Bin It! Tissues are readily available for all children and are diposed off in hygiene waste.

Pupils will come to school in uniform on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with PE kits being worn on Monday and a Tuesday. All children will need to bring a NAMED water bottle each day, for water only.
